Tumer vs. Concord Mgmt
The case of Raymona J. Tumer vs. Concord Management, Ltd, was filed
Sept 3, 2011 in the U.S. District Court in and in part alleges discrimination against a minority woman. This is a 2 Count complaint: 1) Discrimination Based on Race, and, 2) Violation of State Statute 414.511 Orlando
Plaintiff Tumer, of Holly Hill, Florida, was employed for 4 ½ years by Defendant Concord Management Ltd and was a coordinator for the after school program.
She reported an incident of neglect of children, by a Concord employee, to the Florida State DCPS as required by
law and Plaintiff alleged her firing was done in retaliation for reporting the incident of neglect, refusing to alter a report to include ‘untruthful’ information and cooperating with State Investigators. Florida
Ms Tummer is Black the person she reported was White, Plaintiff was fired, the White employee responsible for the incident, was not.
